    1 loaf of french bread
    1 Dozen eggs
    1 pt half and half
    1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
    1 Tbs cinnamon
    1/2 cup chopped toasted pecans
    4 Tbs butter or margerine

    Recipe



    The night before:

    Break bread into pieces and place in a 9X11 inch baking dish. Beat eggs with half and half in mixing bowl. Pour egg mixture over bread, cover and refrigerate overnight.

    Before Baking:

    Mix brown sugar, cinnamon and nuts. Sprinkle over the bread-eggs mixture. Dot butter/margerine over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes until bread is set. Serve warm as is or sprinkle with powdered sugar or warm syrup.
