List of Ingredients




7 pieces bread (minus the crusts)
1 jar Old English Cheese, softened
3 eggs, well beaten
¾ stick butter, softened
2 cups milk

Recipe



Spread cheese and butter (which have been mixed together) on both sides of bread.
Lay bread in bottom of casserole dish and pour milk and eggs beaten together over bread.
Bake uncovered in a 9 by 13" casserole.
Place casserole in another pan of one-inch water (as in cooking custard.)
Bake one hour at 325°.
Serve with crisp bacon and hot biscuits .................................
