    1 stick butter
    2 egg whites
    1 C sugar
    Pinch of salt
    1 lb nuts

    Recipe



    Melt margarine/butter on cookie sheet in 325 degree oven.
    Put egg whites in mixing bowl and beat with wire whisk till frothy.
    Add sugar and a dash of salt.
    Mix in 1 pound of pecan halves and bake 7 minutes.
    Remove from oven and turn pecans over.
    Bake 8 more minutes.
    Remove from oven and let cool.
    Store in airtight container.
