    2 sticks (1 cup) butter, softened
    3/4 cup packed light-brown sugar
    1/2 cup granulated sugar
    1 tsp ground cinnamon
    2 large eggs
    2 tsp vanilla extract
    1 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    3 cups uncooked old-fashioned or quick oats
    1 bag (12 oz) semisweet chocolate chunks, chopped
    1 cup pecans, chopped

    Recipe



    1. Heat oven to 350°F. Have baking sheet(s) ready.

    2. In a large bowl with mixer on high speed, beat first 8 ingredients (butter through salt) until well blended. Reduce speed to low; beat in flour just until blended. Stir in oats, chocolate and pecans. Drop rounded tablespoons about 1 in. apart on ungreased baking sheet(s).

    3. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 1 minute on baking sheet, then remove to a wire rack to cool.
