Parmesan Rice Pilaf

2 tablespoons butter
1 cup rice
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp dried parsley
2 cups chicken broth
2 tbs grated parmesan cheese
2 tbs sliced almonds, lightly toasted
Recipe
1. Melt butter in medium saucepan on medium heat. Add rice; cook and stir 3 minutes.
2. Stir in chicken broth. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 20 minutes or until rice is tender. Remove from heat.
3. Stir in remaining Garlic Powder and black Pepper. Add 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese with almonds.
