    Baked Potatoe Soup

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 large baking potatoes
    • 5 1/3 tbs butter
    • 1/3 cup flour
    • 3 cups milk
    • salt and pepper
    • 2 green onions
    • 1/2 cup sour cream
    • 1 cup crisp crumbled bacon
    • 3 oz grated cheddar cheese


    Instructions


    1. Heat oven to 350 degrees and the bake the potatoes until folk tender.

    2. Melt butter in medium saucepan. Slowly blend in flour with wire whisk until thorougly blended. Gradually add milt to the butter-flour mixture, whisking constantly. Whisk in salt and pepper and simmer over low heat stirring constantly.

    3. Cut potatoes in half and scoop out the potatoes. When milk mixture is very hot, whisk in potato. Add green onions. Whisk well, add sour cream and crumbled bacon. Heat thoroughly. Add cheese a little at a time until it is all melted.
