    PB&Chocolate Crispy Rice Treats

    Recipe Introduction


    a hybrid of the recipes found on various boxes of rice cereal and marshmallow bags


    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 Cup unsalted butter
    • 3/4 Cup organic peanut butter
    • 1/2 Cup dark (or semi-sweet) chocolate chips
    • 2 tsp vanilla
    • 13-15 Cups (one big box) of crispy rice cereal


    Instructions


    1. grease all sides of the vessel of your choosing (I used one 8x8 and one 13x8 pan because I like my rice treats nice and tall)
    2. Melt butter in a large stock pot over med-low heat. Add the marshmallows and stir until melted.
    3. Mix in peanut butter, chocolate, and vanilla. Stir until everything is melted. Remove from heat.
    4. Add cereal, and stir until combined.
    5. Transfer to pan, and press flat using wax paper or greased rubber scraper.
    6. Cut it into squares and enjoy!
