PB&Chocolate Crispy Rice Treats

Recipe Introduction
a hybrid of the recipes found on various boxes of rice cereal and marshmallow bags
List of Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup unsalted butter
- 3/4 Cup organic peanut butter
- 1/2 Cup dark (or semi-sweet) chocolate chips
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 13-15 Cups (one big box) of crispy rice cereal
Instructions
- grease all sides of the vessel of your choosing (I used one 8x8 and one 13x8 pan because I like my rice treats nice and tall)
- Melt butter in a large stock pot over med-low heat. Add the marshmallows and stir until melted.
- Mix in peanut butter, chocolate, and vanilla. Stir until everything is melted. Remove from heat.
- Add cereal, and stir until combined.
- Transfer to pan, and press flat using wax paper or greased rubber scraper.
- Cut it into squares and enjoy!
