    Sticky Drumsticks

    Source of Recipe

    My Own Personal Recipe Collection

This is the best (and easiest) way of preparing chicken drumsticks. They're sticky (hence the name) and messy, but so incredibly good.

    List of Ingredients

    • 1/2 cup apricot preserves
    • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
    • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    • 1 tsp. cornstarch
    • 1 tsp. cider vinegar
    • 1/4 tsp. salt
    • 12 medium chicken breasts, skin removed

    Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 425 F. In large bowl, with wire whisk, mix apricot preserves, teriyaki sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, vinegar, and salt until blended. Add chicken drumsticks, tossing to coat.
    2. Spoon chicken and sauce into 15 1/2" by 10 1/2" jelly roll pan. Remove chicken from oven; with pastry brush, brush chicken with sauce in pan. Cook chicken 15 to 20 minutes onger, brushing with sauce every 5 minutes.
    3. Remove chicken from oven; brush with sauce. Allow chicken to cool 10 minutes before serving. Place chicken in serving dish and spoon remaining sauce over chicken.
