    Spicy Baked Beans

    List of Ingredients


    • 3 (16 oz.) cans baked beans
    • 2 cups medium salsa
    • 1 lb. hickory smoked bacon, cooked and crumbled
    • 1 cup chopped red onion
    • 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
    • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
    • 2 Tbsp. stone-ground mustard
    • 2 Tbsp. light molasses
    • 1 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh garlic
    • 2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar


    Instructions


    1. Combine all ingredients in 3-qt. saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until beans come to a full boil (8-12 minutes). Reduce heat to low; continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until flavors are blended (40 to 45 minutes).
