    Puff The Magic Monkey Cream Puffs

    Recipe Introduction


    Light, but rich, cream puffs with cool whip in the middle instead of pudding.


    List of Ingredients


    • Puffs...........
    • 1/2 C. water
    • 1/ C. flour
    • 2 eggs
    • 1/4 C. margarine
    • Chocolate Frosting...............
    • 1 box powderd sugar
    • 1/3 cup cocoa
    • 1/2 cube butter
    • 2/3 C. milk


    Instructions


    1. Heat oven to 400%
    2. Bring water and margarine to a rolling boil
    3. Stir in flour untill it forms a ball about 1 min.
    4. Remove pan from heat,and beat in two eggs, untill satiny...(You will see the consistency change)
    5. Drop dough by 1/4 cupfuls about 3 inches apart onto ungreased cookie
    6. Bake until puffed and golden, 35 to 40 mins.
    7. Cool until they are completely cool about 1 to 2 hours
    8. Cut off tops and pull out the eggy filaments of soft dough
    9. Fill puffs with cool whip and put the tops back on
    10. When puffs are finished, frost each one with chocolate frosting .....
    11. Using a mixer, mix box of pw sugar with 1/3 cup of cocoa,2/3 cup of milk, 1/2 cube of butter, a pinch of salt and 1 t. of vanilla


    Final Comments


    be sure the puffs are done, because they need to be dry on the outside, or they are hard to clean and fill.
