Green Chilie Casserole
List of Ingredients
2-10 oz. cans cream of mushroom soup
2-10 oz. cans cream of chicken soup
2 small cans of diced green chilies
1-12 or 16 oz. container sour cream
1/2 to 1 pound cooked ground beef or chicken pieces
1 onion, chopped (about 1/2 to 3/4 cup)
1 pkg. large flour tortillas
2 cups grated cheddar cheeseRecipe
Combine first 6 ingredients in large bowl to make sauce.
Alternate layers of tortillas, sauce and cheese in 9x13 pan, starting with a little sauce on the bottom to prevent sticking. Finish with cheese on top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Let sit for 15 to 20 minutes to thicken up before serving.
