    killer cabbage rolls wild baby

    Recipe Introduction


    try this authentic recipe handed down to me from my mother. the key to this awesome meal is the sauerkraut


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lbs ground beef
    • 1 lbs ground pork
    • 1 lrge head of cabbage
    • 2 cups of white rice
    • 1 liter of tomato juice
    • 1 jar of wine sauerkraut
    • pepper to taste
    • salt to taste
    • one big ass pot to cook in


    Instructions


    1. in a large bowl, throw in the pork and the beef, then add the rice,pepper and salt. mix together

    2. in order to wrap your cabbage rolls you need to blanch your cabbage leaves in boiling water for a couple of minutes

    3. when ready to roll, take one leaf, a small handful of the mixture and roll it up. layer in large pot and continue until all the mixture is finished.

    4. remember to layer the cabbage rolls with tomato and sauerkraut between them

    5. cook for 3 to 4 hours at 350 °f

    6. enjoy with you favorite beer and a french loaf of bread
