    Double Quick Dinner Rolls

    Source of Recipe

Courtesy of all recipes and submitted by Marian Collins. I made this for Thanksgiving dinner 2002 and my husband and I both loved them!

    List of Ingredients

2 and 1/4 tsp. active dry yeast
    1 Cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
    1/4 Cup dry potato flakes
    2 Tbsp. white sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    3/4 tsp. onion powder
    2 and 1/4 Cups all-purpose flour

    Recipe

1.) In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add potato flakes, sugar, salt, egg, vegetable oil, onion powder, and 1 Cup of the flour. Continue stirring until smooth, scraping batter from sides of bowl.

2.) Cover and let dough rise in warm place until doubled, about 20-30 minutes.

3.) Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Lightly grease 12 muffin cups.

4.) Punch down dough. Spoon dough into 12 greased muffin cups, filling each half full. Let rise until batter reaches tops of cups, or about 20 minutes.

    5.) Bake in a preheated oven 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 15 minutes. Serve immediately.
