    Recipe Introduction


    This recipe has been in the family for quite a while. It is the best sugar cookie I have had. Makes nice soft cookies. :)


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup crisco
    • 1 1/2 cup sugar
    • 1 cup milk
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 tsp vanilla
    • 1 tsp baking soda
    • 2 tsp baking powder
    • 5-6 cups flour


    Instructions


    1. Mix all ingredients until mixture is stiff. Add extra flour if you want to make cut out cookies so the dough is stiff enough to roll out. For drop cookies, drop by teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
    2. Bake at 350 for about 8 minutes or until bottoms are lightly browned.
