Coconut Pound Cake

- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups butter
- 5 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 3/4 cups flour
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons almond extract
- 1 can (3.5 oz) angel flake coconut
Instructions
- Cream butter and sugar, add eggs, one at a time. Add milk. Sift together flour, salt, and baking powder; add to creamed mixture. Add vanilla and almond extracts and beat well. Fold in coconut. Pour into a greased 10"
tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until a tester inserted in the center comes out clean.
