    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/4 cups sugar
    • 1/2 cup butter
    • 2 eggs
    • 2 1/2 cups flour
    • 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
    • 2 teaspoon ginger
    • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/4 teaspoon cloves
    • 1 cup milk
    • powdered sugar


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Grease a 13x9x2" baking pan.
    2. Beat sugar and butter in a large bowl until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. Beat in eggs, one at a time, until combined. Add flour, baking powder, ginger, cinnamon, salt and cloves to butter mixture; pour milk
      over mixture and beat just until smooth.
    3. Transfer batter to prepared pan. Bake until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, about 30 minutes. Cool to room temperature. Before serving, dust with powdered sugar; cut into squares. Serve.
