Gingerbread Squares

List of Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
- 1 cup milk
- powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees Grease a 13x9x2" baking pan.
- Beat sugar and butter in a large bowl until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. Beat in eggs, one at a time, until combined. Add flour, baking powder, ginger, cinnamon, salt and cloves to butter mixture; pour milk
over mixture and beat just until smooth.
- Transfer batter to prepared pan. Bake until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, about 30 minutes. Cool to room temperature. Before serving, dust with powdered sugar; cut into squares. Serve.
