Fattening Potatoes

List of Ingredients
- 11 oz. instant potatoes
- 1 1/2 qts. water
- 4 tbs. butter
- 1 (8-oz.) carton sour cream
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 cup grated sharp Cheddar cheese
- 2 tbs. chopped green onions
- Extra grated Cheddar cheese for top
Instructions
- Combine potatoes and water (use a wire whip). The water must be boiling. Add butter, sour cream and salt. Spread half of potatoes into a baking dish. Sprinkle with a layer of Cheddar cheese and green onions. Add another layer of potatoes. Top with chopped green onions and cheese. Bacon sprinkles can be added if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
