    Recipe Introduction

These oatmeal cookies can be crispy or chewy. Either way, they're delicious.

    List of Ingredients

    1 1/4 c. all purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. (2 sticks) butter, softened
    3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    2 eggs
1 1/2 to 2 tsp. vanilla flavoring (not extract) or grated peel of 1 orange
3 c. quick or old fashioned oats, uncooked
1 (12 oz.) pkg. (2 cups) Nestle Toll House butterscotch flavored morsels
eggs and vanilla extract or orange peel until creamy. Gradually beat in
flour mixture. Stir in oats and Nestle Toll House butterscotch flavored
    morsels.

    Recipe

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; set aside. In large mixer bowl, beat butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla flavoring or orange peel until creamy. Gradually beat in
flour mixture. Stir in oats and Nestle Toll House butterscotch flavored morsels.
Drop by measuring tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 7 to 8 minutes for chewier cookies; 9 to 10 minutes for crispier cookies.
Makes about 4 dozen cookies. Enjoy.
