3 tablespoons margarine
5 egg yolks
1 cup sugar
1 cup white Karo syrup
1 cup broken pecan meats
5 egg whites, well beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla Recipe
Cream margarine, sugar and egg yolks. Add syrup, vanilla and pecans; stir well.
Mix egg whites until well beaten. Fold the two mixtures together. Pour mixture into an unbaked pastry shell. Bake at 325 deg. F. for 1 hour or until custard-like in consistency. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
