    BIRDS EYE®
    This luscious, layered dessert is the perfect after-dinner treat.


    Ingredients
    1 box (10 ounces) BIRDS EYE® frozen Strawberries*
    1 package (3.4 ounces) vanilla instant pudding
    1-1/2 cups milk
    1 cup thawed frozen whipped topping
    8 thin slices fresh or thawed frozen pound cake
    1/2 cup toasted sliced almonds
    1/4 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips (optional)

    *Or, substitute Birds Eye® frozen Raspberries.


    Prep Time 20 minutes




    • Thaw strawberries according to package directions.

    • Prepare pudding with 1-1/2 cups milk according to package directions. Let stand 5 minutes; gently stir in whipped topping.

    • Place 1 slice cake in each of 4 individual serving bowls. Spoon half the strawberries over cake. Top with half the pudding mixture, almonds and chocolate chips.

    • Repeat layers of cake, strawberries, pudding, almonds and chips. Cover and chill until ready to serve.


    Makes 4 servings
