    Judy's Arkansas Fudge

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 - 8 oz Hershey's milk chocolate bars
    • 1 - 12 oz pkg sem-sweet chocolate chips
    • 2 - 7 oz jars marshmellow creme
    • 1 - large can evaporated milk
    • 1 - stick margarine
    • 4 - 1/2 cups granulated sugar
    • 2 - teaspoons vanilla
    • 1 - cup chopped pecans


    Instructions


    1. In a large bowl, break up chocolate bars. Add marshmellow creme and chocolate chips.

    2. In a 3 qt saucepan, mix milk, margarine and sugar together. Heat to boiling and boil for seven (7) minutes, stirring constantly.

    3. Pour syrup slowly into chocolate mixture. Beat with a wooden spoon until smooth and creamy (about 5 minutes). Beat in vanilla and pecans.

    4. Butter a jelly roll pan. Spread evenly and cover with plastic wrap. Chill until firm.



    Final Comments


    Makes 7-1/2 pounds of fudge.
