Recipe Introduction
Took traditional bbq sauce and made some modification. Works best on pork ribs/spare ribs....non-tomato based.
List of Ingredients
- 4 cans cherry cola-flat
- 2 cups cherry preserves
- 2/3 cup dijion mustard
- 3 tbs horseradish (optional)
- 2 tbs apple cider vinegar
- 3 tbs soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp daves insanity sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Boil cherry cola in sauce pan over med-high heat until reduced to 1 1/2 cups. About 45 minutes
- Stir in the rest of ingredients.Reduce heat to medium and simmer until reduced to 2 1/2 cups. About 35 minutes
- Can be made and stored for 1 week in refridge. Bring to room temp before using.
