    Recipe Introduction


    Mix keeps for up to 6 months, makes 12 cups. Use this to make Butterscotch Pinwheels, or Tea Biscuits.


    List of Ingredients


    • 8 cups sifted all purpose flour
    • 5 tablespoons baking powder
    • 2 teaspoons salt
    • 1 cup skim milk powder
    • 1 1/2 cups shortening


    Instructions


    1. Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
    2. Add skim milk powder and mix thoroughly.
    3. Cut in the shortening until mixture resembles fine bread crumbs.
    4. Store in covered container in the refrigerator or other cool dry place for up to 6 months.
