Recipe Introduction
Mix keeps for up to 6 months, makes 12 cups. Use this to make Butterscotch Pinwheels, or Tea Biscuits.
List of Ingredients
- 8 cups sifted all purpose flour
- 5 tablespoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 cup skim milk powder
- 1 1/2 cups shortening
Instructions
- Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
- Add skim milk powder and mix thoroughly.
- Cut in the shortening until mixture resembles fine bread crumbs.
- Store in covered container in the refrigerator or other cool dry place for up to 6 months.
