    Pineapple Slice

    List of Ingredients


    • Bottom:
    • 1/2 cup butter
    • 1 cup flour
    • 3 tblsp brown sugar
    • Centre:
    • 1 20 oz can or 2 14 oz cans of drained, crushed pineapple
    • Frosting:
    • 1 1/2 cups sifted icing sugar
    • 1/2 cup butter
    • 1 egg


    Instructions


    1. Bottom: Mix together butter, flour and brown sugar, and smooth crumbs in an 8" X 8" or 9" X 9" pan.

    2. Press down gently and bake at 350F 15 - 20 mins. until light brown.....cool.

    3. Centre: Spread the pineapple on cooled, baked crumbs, cover with frosting.

    4. Frosting: Cream the butter and sugar well.

    5. Add the egg and beat until fluffy.

    6. Keep in the refrigerator until ready to spread on the pineapple.
