    you can sub apples or any fruit for the berries, and change the ginger for cinnamon

    4 cups blackberries
    1/2 cup white sugar
    1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
    1/4 cup all purpose flour
    1/2 cup uncooked old-fashioned oats
    3 Tablespoons reduced-calorie margarine

    Recipe
    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
    2. Stir together berries, 1/4 cup of the sugar, and ginger; pour into a 1 and 1/2 quart baking dish.
    3. Cut flour, oatmeal, remaining sugar and margarine together with a pastry blender or fork in a medium bowl; sprinkle over berry mixture.
    4. Bake until berry juices are bubbling and the top is browned, about 45 minutes. Yields about 1/2 cup per serving.
