    Sausage Wellington

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pound ground sausage (I used Jimmy Dean Regular)
    • 8 oz package cream cheese
    • 8 oz package refrigerated crescent rolls
    • 1 tbls poppy seeds
    • 1 egg white, slightly beaten


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    2. Brown sausage and drain well.

    3. Mix sausage and cream cheese, blend until mixture is creamy.

    4. Unroll crescent rolls into 1 long rectangle.

    5. Pinch together all perforated openings with damp fingers.

    6. Spread mixture lengthwise down the center of pastry.

    7. Fold over sides and make into log.

    8. Brush top with egg white. Sprinkle with poppy seeds.

    9. Bake 20-30 minutes or until crust is golden.

    10. Serve warm.
