    Chicken Cordon Bleu

    Ron's concoction

    List of Ingredients


    • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
    • 4 slices if Swiss cheese
    • 4 slices of smoked ham (good quality)
    • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1 egg beaten
    • 1 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
    • 1 can cream of chicken soup
    • 1 cup sour cream
    • 1/2 cup white wine
    • 1 tsp garlic powder
    • 1 tsp dried parsley
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1 tsp ground black pepper


    Instructions


    1. Pound chicken breast to 1/4 inch thickness. Sprinkle each piece with salt and pepper.

    2. Place 1 cheese slice and 1 ham slice on each breast. Roll up each breast using toothpicks to secure.

    3. Dredge each in flour, shake off excess, then in egg and finally in bread crumbs.

    4. Place seam side down in baking dish that has been sprayed with Pam

    5. In a medium bowl combine the soup, sour cream, wine, garlic powder, parsley, salt, and pepper.

    6. Mix well and pour mixture over chicken/ham/cheese roll-ups.

    7. Bake at 350 degrees for about 35 - 40 minutes until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.

    8. Or until internal temperture reaches 150 degrees.
