Green Beans w/Caramelized Shallots

List of Ingredients
- 2 lbs. haricots vert trimmed(tiny green beans)
- 3 tbs butter
- 1 tbs light brown sugar
- 1 tbs olive oil
- 1 lbs. shallots, sliced thick lengthwise and peeled
- 2 tbs red wine vinegar
Instructions
- Cook green beans in boiling salted water 3-4 minutes, drain, plunge into ice water
- Melt butter and brown sugar with olive oil in large skillet over med-high heat
- Add shallots and saute 2 minutes, reduce heat to med-low add vinegar and saute 10 minutes until golden
- Increase heat to med-high add green beans and saute 5 minutes until thoroughly heated
- Season with salt and pepper to taste
