Hamburger Milk Gravy Green Bean Skillet

8 ounces 90% lean turkey or beef
½ cup chopped onion
1-1/2 cups (one 12 fluid ounce can) Carnation Evaporated Skim Milk
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3 cups (3 8-ounce cans) French style green beans, rinsed and drained
½ cup (2.5 ounce jar) sliced mushrooms, drained
1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
1/8 teaspoon black pepperRecipe
In a large skillet sprayed with butter-flavored cooking spray, brown
meat
and onion. In a covered jar, combined evaporated skim milk and flour.
Shake well to combine. Stir milk mixture into meat mixture. Add green
beans, mushrooms, Italian seasoning, and black pepper. Mix well to
combine.
Lower heat. Simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve at once.
Diabetic: 2 Vegetable, 1 ½ Meat, 1 Skim Milk
