    Recipe Introduction

Very tasty, leftovers were good the next day, also.

    List of Ingredients

1 tube (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls
1 pkg. (8 oz) cream cheese softened
    1/4 cup sour cream
    1/2 t. dill weed
    1/8 t. salt
1/2 cup seafood sauce (I forgot to pick some up, so I made my own with 1/2 c. catsup, 1/2 tsp. prepared horseradish and about 1/2 tsp. worcestershire sauce)
24 cooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined (I used salad shrimp and didn't count. I just covered the top with them)
    1/2 cup chopped green pepper
    1/3 cup chopped onion
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese (4 oz)(you can vary the type cheese a bit, I actually used a combination of colby/jack and pepper jack cheese)

    Recipe

In a greased 13 x 9" baking dish, unroll the crescent dough into one long
rectangle. Seal seams and perforations. Bake at 375 for 10 to 12 minutes or
until golden brown (my oven cooks "hot", so it didn't take quite that long). Cool completely on a wire rack. In a small mixing bowl,
beat the cream cheese, sour cream, dill and salt until smooth. Spread over
crust Top with seafood sauce, shrimp, green pepper, onion and cheese. Cover.
Refrigerate for 1 hour. Cut into squares (I used a pizza cutter). Makes 2 dozen.
