Recipe Introduction
This is yummy! But, the cider needs to be good and hot (not boil your tongue hot, though) and the spiced mixture needs to be stirred into the cider well. If not, it will just kind of look ugly and float on top!

Montana Winter Spiced Cider
¾ cup brown sugar, packed
1 t. cinnamon
½ cup vanilla ice cream, softened
2 T. butter, softened
1 ½ gallons apple cider
Recipe
Combine the first four ingredients together in a blender; blend until
smooth. Pour into a freezer safe dish. Cover and freeze several hours. Heat
apple cider thoroughly in a large pan; pour into serving mugs. Add one T.
frozen mixture to each mug; stir until melted. Makes 24 servings.
