Chocolate-Covered Banana Cake

Recipe Introduction
My version of the recipe on the box.
List of Ingredients
1 pkg banana cake mix
1 c. water
1/3 c. oil
3 eggs
1 - 4 serv pkg vanilla instant pudding and pie filling mix (I think I'll try banana flavor next time)
1 c. milk
1 c. cool whip
2 bananas, sliced
1 - 16 oz can chocolate frosting
1/2 c. chopped salted peanutsRecipe
Preheat oven to 350*. Bake cake in 13x9 pan as directed.
Remove from pan and cool completely on wire rack. Using sharp knife, cut cake in 1/2 long ways. Carefully return bottom half of cake to 13x9 pan. In large bowl, combine pudding mix and milk until thickened. Fold in cool whip. Spread of bottom layer of cake. Top with sliced bananas. Top with top 1/2 of cake. Take chocolate frosting and microwave for about 30 seconds, stir until smooth. Pour over top of cake. Spread to cover. Sprinkle with nuts. Refrigerate before serving. 12 servings.
