    The only Mayonnaise Cake I had ever had was a chocolate cake...but tried this one and it is quite yummy! No frosting...it's more of a dessert cake.

    List of Ingredients




    1 c. boiling water
    1 c. chopped nuts (I used pecans)
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. mayonnaise
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. nuts, chopped (again, I used pecans)
    1 c. chocolate chips

    Recipe



    Combine first 7 ingredients and mix well. Put in a greased and floured 9x13 pan. Combine brown sugar, nuts, and chocolate chips; sprinkle over batter. Bake at 300* for 45 min. Cool.
