    Two sticks of unsalted butter
    1 cup granulated sugar
    1 cup brown sugar
    1 cup plus 1 TBS heavy whipping cream
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla
    4 cups confectioner's sugar
    2 cups pecan pieces

    Recipe



    Butter a 9 x 13 - inch dish.
    In a large saucepan over medium heat, add butter, sugars, cream, and salt. Stir frequently. Once the mixture comes to a boil, boil for 4 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in the vanilla and confectioner's sugar until smooth.
    Fold in pecans.
    Pour into dish and let cool for 3 hours.
