    Popcorn Balls

    Source of Recipe

    Everyday Food

    Recipe Introduction

This are very simple. The first time I made this recipe, it turned out perfect. We used about 1 cup of peanuts and about 1/2 c. of holiday M & M's instead of the peanut/raisins called for in recipe. You could substitute other things, too.

    List of Ingredients

    2 tb. butter
    1 - 10.5 oz mini marshmallows
12 cups of plain unsalted popcorn, popped (about 2/3 c. unpopped kernals)
    1/2 c. peanuts
    1/2 c. raisins

    Recipe

In non-stick pan, melt butter, stir in marshmallows and stir until melted (about 10 min.). Pour nuts and raisins on top of popcorn in large bowl. Pour melted marshmallow/butter mixture and quickly fold in mixture thoroughly. With well buttered hands, form mixture into
3" balls and sit on waxed paper. (We had to butter our hands several times in the process to keep them from sticking to our hands). Let sit until cool and firm, about 10 min.
