Recipe Introduction
After you have dipped out and eaten the oranges, you can add more sliced oranges to the syrup...you can do this several times. These are delicious!
List of Ingredients
2 c. water
1 c. sugar
1 2" cinnamon stick
4 whole allspice
2/3 c. orange flavored liqueur
6 oranges, peeled and sliced (I slice thick)
Recipe
In med saucepot, combine water and sugar; heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Add spices. Boil, uncovered, until mixture is reduced to 1 cop. Cool slightly. Add liqueur, mix well. Transfer mixture to a bowl. Add orange slices. Cover. Refrigerate 5 hr or overnight. Yield 6-8 servings.
