Very tasty! Don't let the horseradish scare you!
List of Ingredients
Meat Mixture:
2 lb. ground beef
3/4 c. uncooked oats
1 lg. onion, quartered
2 eggs
1/2 c. catsup
1 tb. horseradish
1 tsp. salt
Glaze:
1/2 c. catsup
1 tb. horseradish
3 tb. brown sugar
2 tsp. spicy brown mustard (we used some stoneground mustard we had)
Mix all glaze ingredients in a small bowl.Recipe
Preheat oven to 375*.
Mix ground beef and oats in a large bowl. Pout onion, eggs, catsup, horseradish and salt into a blender. Blend until smooth. Stir into meat mixture. Form meat into a loaf and place in a loaf pan (I sprayed mine with cooking spray). Top with 1/2 of glaze mixture and bake for 1 hr. Top with remaining glaze and bake 15 min. longer. Let sit out of oven for 20 min. before removing from pan and serving. (I lifted mine out with a spatula).
