    Robin/Mary's Twice Cooked Venison

    Recipe Introduction

    This recipe is a collaboration of a dish my friend Mary V. brought over and my own ideas. Very tasty. Could be made with beef roast, also.

    List of Ingredients

    3-4 lb. venison roast
    1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
    1 can beefy mushroom soup, undiluted
    1 8oz pkg fresh mushrooms (I have used canned)
    1 large onion, coarsley chopped
    1 bell pepper, coarsley chopped
    1 tb. worcestershire
    garlic, salt, pepper, parsley to taste
    water as needed

    Recipe

    Cook venison roast in lots of water...slightly seasoned with salt. You can cook in crockpot or oven. When tender, pour off water. Shred meat with fork (I leave mine in kind of big shredded hunks, if that makes sense!) Put back in pan/crockpot. Add rest of ingredients. Add a little water. Cook for about 1 hour in oven or until all is heated through very well and vegetables are done in crockpot.
