    1 roasting hen
    choice of dry seasoning
    1 can of beer

    Recipe



    Heavily season outside and inside of hen with desired seasoning (can be cajun, lemon/pepper, salt/pepper/garlic, you name it...use your imagination). Open beer and drink 1/3 of it. I have cooked these on the grill and in my oven.
    Either way, position beer on grill rack or roasting pan. Sit chicken down over beer...the whole beer can should be inside the chicken...positioning the legs to keep the beer impaled hen sitting upright. Grill or roast in oven (about 350*) until skin is crispy and chicken is tender. Let rest for a few minutes before removing from beer can.
