    Robin's Blue Cheese Sliders

    Makes about 25 sliders. You can serve them with a dressing, fresh arugula, onion, Wickles Pickles or just pickle of choice.

    List of Ingredients




    3 lb. of 80/20 ground beef
    2 slices bread, toasted and put through food processor to make crumbs
    1 egg
    1 tb salt
    black pepper to taste
    1/2 tsp garlic
    1/2 tsp seasoned salt
    2 tsp fresh thyme leaves or probably 1 tsp. of dried (I just happened to have a thyme plant! so I get to use fresh)
    1 tb. steak sauce of choice
    about 1 cup of blue cheese crumbles
    small buns

    Recipe



    Mix all except cheese and buns. I pat mine out into a square and cut 5x5, creating uniform meat portions. Take a meat square, roll in hands into a meatball, take your thumb and push in to create a pocket, fill with blue cheese crumbles, and pinch to close. Pat out flat to form
    patty, being careful not to puncture the cheese pocket. Don't worry if a few crumbles from the process are stuck on the outside of the burger. Bake on cookie sheet sprayed with non-stick spray for 15 min. at 350*. Serve on buns.
