Chicken and Asparagus Soup

Recipe Introduction
Very tasty comfort soup. I adapted this recipe from a recipe in a chicken cookbook that I had.
List of Ingredients
2lb. of chicken breast, cooked and shredded
8 c. chicken stock (I used the stock from the chicken I cooked, and added a can of chicken broth, and 2 c. of water and 2 chicken bouillon cubes to make 8 cups of liquid)
1 # of tender raw asparagus, stemmy ends removed and cut into 1 1/2" pieces
1 c. white cooking wine
1 shallot, minced
1/2 tsp each of dried dill, parsley and tarragon tied into a cheese cloth (I had one of those metal tea gadgets)
salt and pepper to taste
3 1/2 oz dry stir fry rice noodlesRecipe
Add wine to broth, put herbs and shallot into pot. Bring to boil. Add asparagus and rice noodles. Simmer 5 min. Add chicken and season. Simmer 5 min. Turn off heat. Let sit 5 min. Serve.
