Robin's Fire Roasted Tomato Chili

List of Ingredients
2 tb olive oil
3 tb. bacon grease
6 cloves garlic, minced
2 onions, roughly chopped
1 green and 1 red bell pepper, roughly chopped
2 tb chile powder
1 tb. ground cumin
1 ts cayenne pepper
1 6oz can tomato paste
2 15oz cans fire roasted tomatoes
2 lb ground beef
1 lb ground pork
salt and pepper to taste
8 cups beef broth (2 quarts)
3 15 oz can pinto beans, drained
2 15 oz cans kidney beans, drained

In large pot over med heat, cook garlic, onions and green/red bell peppers to soften. Add chile powder, cumin and cayenne pepper. Add meats and brown. Add tomato paste, tomatoes. Add a bit of salt and black pepper. Add broth. Mix and let cook a few minutes. Add beans and sugar. Let simmer with pot covered loosely and simmer for about 40 min to an hour. Taste and add salt if needed.
