    Chocolate Dipped Strawberries

    Decadent? Perhaps. But isn't life worth a little indulgence every now and again?


    1 (12-oz.) package semisweet chocolate pieces
    6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 lbs. strawberries, with stems


    Melt chocolate pieces in top of double boiler. Blend in butter and vanilla. Dip strawberries in chocolate, swirling to coat evenly. Placed on waxed paper and set in cool dry place.
