Pepperidge Farm Meat Loaf
Yes, yet ANOTHER meat loaf recipe. There's just something about the lowly meat loaf, isn't there? Who needs pâté de foie gras when you can tuck into this little number? (Well...I do, I guess...) Still, this is a worthy recipe, meant to be served up with fluffy mashed potatoes and Niblets corn. God bless America!!!
1 medium onion chopped
1/2 cup Pepperidge Farm herb seasoned stuffing
1/2 cup bouillon
1 tsp. salt
1 lb. ground beef
4 sprigs parsley, chopped
3 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1 slightly beaten egg
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
Sauté onion in butter or margarine. In large bowl, mix stuffing and bouillon. Add onions, ground beef, parsley, cheese, egg, salt and pepper. Blend. Form into loaf in baking pan. Bake 50 minutes in 350º F. oven. Sometimes I slice green bell peppers on top before baking to add flavor
