Red Wine Meat Loaf
As the name of the recipe indicates, this is NOT a main dish for teetotalers!! But if you and your guests are known to indulge every now and again, let me recommend this very tasty entrée. Salud!!!
2 lbs. ground beef (or combination of beef and pork)
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
2 eggs
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 cup red wine
Combine all ingredients thoroughly. Press into a large loaf pan and bake at 350º F. for 1 hour.
Serves 8.
