    List of Ingredients


    • 3 CUPS UNCLE BEN'S CONVERTED ORIGINAL RICE-UNCOOKED
    • 1 14 OZ CAN SWANSON'S CHICKEN BROTH
    • 1 14.5 OZ CAN WHOLE TOMAOES-COURSLEY CHOPPED
    • 1 1/2 CUPS WATER
    • 1/2 SMALL CAN TOMATO PASTE
    • 1 MED ONION CHOPPED
    • 1 CUP GREEN BELL PEPPER CHOPPED
    • 6 SLICES BACON
    • 2 TBL BUTTER
    • 3 TSP SALT
    • 1 TSP PEPPER


    Instructions


    1. IN LARGE SAUTE SKILLET SAUTE BACON SLICES-REMOVE AND DRAIN-RESERVE DRIPPINGS-CRUMBLE BACON.

    2. ADD BUTTER TO DRIPPINGS AND SAUTEE ONION AND BELL PEPPER UNTIL TENDER.

    3. MIX ALL TOGETHER AND SIMMER LOW COVERED FOR 30 TO 40 MINUTES OR UNTIL RICE IS TENDER.*****ENJOY!!!!



    Final Comments


    THIS IS A EASY RECIPE TO CUT IN HALF-IT DOES NOT FREEZE WELL.
