- 3 CUPS UNCLE BEN'S CONVERTED ORIGINAL RICE-UNCOOKED
- 1 14 OZ CAN SWANSON'S CHICKEN BROTH
- 1 14.5 OZ CAN WHOLE TOMAOES-COURSLEY CHOPPED
- 1 1/2 CUPS WATER
- 1/2 SMALL CAN TOMATO PASTE
- 1 MED ONION CHOPPED
- 1 CUP GREEN BELL PEPPER CHOPPED
- 6 SLICES BACON
- 2 TBL BUTTER
- 3 TSP SALT
- 1 TSP PEPPER
Instructions
- IN LARGE SAUTE SKILLET SAUTE BACON SLICES-REMOVE AND DRAIN-RESERVE DRIPPINGS-CRUMBLE BACON.
- ADD BUTTER TO DRIPPINGS AND SAUTEE ONION AND BELL PEPPER UNTIL TENDER.
- MIX ALL TOGETHER AND SIMMER LOW COVERED FOR 30 TO 40 MINUTES OR UNTIL RICE IS TENDER.*****ENJOY!!!!

THIS IS A EASY RECIPE TO CUT IN HALF-IT DOES NOT FREEZE WELL.
