    Tex - Mex Dip

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 boxes of avocadoes (frozen) or 3 med ripe avocadoes
    • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
    • 1 cup (8 oz) dairy sour cream
    • 1/ 2 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
    • 1 package taco seasoning
    • 2 cans (10 1/2 oz) plain or jalapeno flavored bean dip
    • 1 cup large bunch green onions, with top, chopped
    • 3 medium sized tomatoes, cored, halved, seeded an chopped
    • 1 package (8 oz) sharp cheddar cheese
    • Large round tortilla chips


    Instructions


    1. Peel, pit and smash avocadoes in a medium size bowl, with lemon juice, salt and pepper.

    2. Combine sour cream, mayonnaise and taco seasoning, in a separate bowl.

    3. To assemble:- spread bean dip in a large shallow serving platter- top with seasoned avocado mix- layer with sour cream - taco mixture- sprinkle with chopped onions, tomatoes- cover with shredded cheese

    4. Serve chilled with chips.
