Hershey Cake

Recipe Introduction
Rich, chocolately and delicious describes this cake. My mother-in-law shared this one with me. Thank goodness as it is my husband's favorite!
List of Ingredients
1 stick butter
4 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 large can Hershey syrup
1 cup sifted self rising flour
Icing
1 stick butter
1 1\2 cup sugar
2\3 cup sweet milk
1 pkg semi sweet chocolate chips
1 cup nuts ( optional )
Boil first four ingredients together for 4 minutes stirring constantly. Then add 1 cup nuts chopped and toasted with butter and salt. Pour over cake while both are still hot.
Recipe
Mix butter, sugar, syrup, and flour. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each egg. Use 9x14 well greased and floured pan. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes or until done.
