Another oldie from my grandmother's kitchen.
List of Ingredients
6 1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 1\2 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup hot green pepper (grind with seeds)
1/2 cup hot red peppers (grind with seeds)
1- 6oz bottle Certo
Recipe
Wear gloves to grind peppers. Mix remaining ingredients except Certo. Cook over low heat about 45 minutes. Turn heat up to moderate and bring to a boil. Remove from heat immediately. Jet stand 5 minutes and add Certo. Stir well and pour into jars.
Save baby food jars just to right size for this. Also save baby food jars to put jellies, preserves, and relishes in for giving as gifts.
