    A great twist on fig preserves. Granny fooled me with this recipe, I really thought I was eating strawberry preserves. Oh well, what can I say.

    List of Ingredients




    Figs
    sugar
    strawberry jello
    1 package sure jell

    Recipe



    Grind about 1 gallon figs. Add enough sugar to just barely cover fogs. Add jello, let stand over night. Cook and bring to a boil. Add Sure Jell, cook until jells or thickens.
